Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-54-748Y Gaming Notebook - Abyss Black

We’ve reviewed several configurations of the Acer Predator Helios 300 several times over the past two years. Our opinion of the laptop is heavily influenced by price. The Predator Helios 300’s keyboard, chunky design, and lackluster battery life don’t hold up in more expensive configurations.

The laptop is overall a great machine. The major glaring flaw is the backlight bleed on the screen. It is NOT easily overlooked. If you're going to use the machine connected to a second display, then no worries. If you're using the laptop display solely, consider a different option.

Laptop is amazing -Yea fans do get loud when gaming but you have the option to use turbo or extreme mode -I recommend buying a cooling pad (IETS GT300 is the best one, I bought it myself) - the laptop has DTX spacial audio built in for headphone users so invest in a good pair of headphones as well -...

Computer's great. Pretty good specs both for use as a laptop on the go and when docked (which is very easy with the thunderbolt port on it). Took like 30 minutes to uninstall all the bloatware included on it though.

If your like me and you play a single game and that is Destiny 2 you most likely smashed your last laptop while doing a nightfall and getting error code anteater, but fear not, with this laptop and it’s killer Wi-Fi not even Luke Smith can come in and sunset your connection!

This may not be the best for A games and certainly not maxing graphics on anything, but this feels like a much more expensive laptop and I think it’ll last a long time

Got this laptop to use for work and for pleasure. Allows me to get my work done and game on my time off at a desktop quality! I would absolutely recommend this product!
