The Acer GN246HL is a decent monitor worth a look thanks to its low price and high refresh rate.
Today we’re taking a look at Acer’s gaming monitor, the GN. This is the 24-inch model, which boasts a fast 144Hz refresh rate that far surpasses the 60Hz standard. If your PC is capable of producing that many frames per second, you’ll see a much smoother experience.
Received mine with no problem what so ever(dead pixel or damage part) include required cables, will be elaborating later. Great picture quality. Great intro into 144Hz monitor, all games that screen tear are gone.
If you can get it on sale it is a great monitor for a good price. I plan to purchase 2 more if they go on sale on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but will definitely make a fuss about dead pixels this time and return them if there is any out of the box again. 4/5 eggs.

-Great refresh/frame rate. -Great colours. -Power saving features are on point and only takes a second to wake up. -No lines and low glare

-Had a few dead pixels right out of the box. Easy to ignore while playing fast paced games like Overwatch, but can be a big distraction in games like Arma3. -Doesn't have enough tilting adjustment for me, need to have something (like a pen) under the rear of the stand to get the screen to face...
if your looking for 144hz buy this when it's on sale. it's the best value on the market, but you gotta make sure your PC can handle a solid 144fps and you enable in the game setting the 144 Hz mode. I have a GTX 1060 and I barely run a solid 150 with low setting on overwatch 1080p.

the color on this is very good compared to my other Acer monitor. it does everything you would want a monitor to do and the base plate feels nice and heavy instead of the usual cheap plastic.

I really wish it could tilt a little more and the controls for the monitor are not all that user friendly.
I give it two real real goods.
I was buying the parts for my computer when my Television died on me. Since I was going to need a monitor anyways, I figured I would see about getting it sooner rather than later. I had seen a review on this monitor and decided to pick it up based on size and price alone.
