My old monitor was probably 20 years old. Just fine for surfing the web, e-mail, & documents. When it got a scratch with this last move, I decided to treat myself to a new monitor. Decided on this, & it is great! Sooo big! Pictures are clear, no need to adjust colors. Easy to read print.
We bought this when our old monitor went bad. I like the fact that we have multiple inputs on it. It is so much brighter than the old one. I would recommend this to someone looking for a fairly inexpensive monitor.
I bought this monitor to replace an Asus VH226H that I had bought back in 2011 and had used for around three years until its CCFL backlight went out. As a successor to that, the VS228

-Matte coat has pretty good consistency, there are very few shades I see disconformities during video panning with.

-
-The monitor I received does have edge bleed, though is only noticeable in use on the left side, which has five areas that jut out by close to half an inch. Its only noticeable with shades near to black (most grays unaffected).
The monitor is purely amazing. The picture is very clear and it is very easy to set up. The settings are easily adjustable. I had this model for about 3 weeks and no issues so far.

I purchased 2 of these for our church's worship software presentation system. They are the right size for our application and look good. We've been happy with them
I am using this on a test bench for testing repaired desktop PCs. It is fitted on an under shelf rotating VESA Mount and it works well. No idea if it is any good for gaming or brightness in sunshine etc but it displays Windows and is getting daily use, so I like it.
I've been running two of these for about 2 years, they're great for productivity that way. My first one was an upgrade from an old 15" CRT, so no surprise that I liked them. One of them has even survived being shot at near-point-blank with an airsoft pistol with minimal colored lines through the...

-HORRIBLY wobbly, the stands are absolutely awful
I purchased this as a production monitor when filming shorts and commercials. It will work great and I also purchased a stand bracket that pairs well with it. It does not say IPS I do not believe but it appears to me that it is. Low power draw and can run off of a VML battery which is awesome!
- Would recommend to anyone who wants a cheap 1080p monitor that looks great!

- Was very easy to set up, just put the base and monitor together easily - no setup when turned on - The colors look great (when turned to theater mode) - Menu was neat and easy to get around -5ms and 1080p - HDMI built in - Speakers

-
- Colors were washed out when I got it, but I just had to change the mode from Standard to Theater, then they looked great - Stand is wobbly
Some reviews would have you believe that those buyers really expected a truly high level monitor for this bargain price. Well. That's their misgivings, not the monitor's. I have watched several HD videos (even more old school non-hd television programs), done some simple photo editing and quite a...
