Last year I was in the hospital for the final 3 months. Got home, turned on computer, it would be the only monitor I looked for. Nothing else beat it. When I received it, it works nothing but great. Jimmy Nelson
We bought this when our old monitor went bad. I like the fact that we have multiple inputs on it. It is so much brighter than the old one. I would recommend this to someone looking for a fairly inexpensive monitor.
I bought this monitor to replace an Asus VH226H that I had bought back in 2011 and had used for around three years until its CCFL backlight went out. As a successor to that, the VS228
-Matte coat has pretty good consistency, there are very few shades I see disconformities during video panning with.
-The monitor I received does have edge bleed, though is only noticeable in use on the left side, which has five areas that jut out by close to half an inch. Its only noticeable with shades near to black (most grays unaffected).
Friends and family have been saying the colour or lighting looks a bit different from normal monitors or laptop screens
Good Price, great brand, and perfect size
Take a while to turn on because it goes through the ASUS logo first then checks which port (DVI, VGA, HDMI) its opening up
The monitor is purely amazing. The picture is very clear and it is very easy to set up. The settings are easily adjustable. I had this model for about 3 weeks and no issues so far.
HDMI Port Contrast Ratio LED Backlighting Unbeatable Price High Resolution
This monitor has a very good picture and would be perfect except for one very annoying feature. After about ten minutes of inactivity, it shuts itself off. Nothing wrong with that; saves power. The annoying part is that when I resume activity, the monitor doesn't turn itself back on!
I purchased 2 of these for our church's worship software presentation system. They are the right size for our application and look good. We've been happy with them
I've been running two of these for about 2 years, they're great for productivity that way. My first one was an upgrade from an old 15" CRT, so no surprise that I liked them. One of them has even survived being shot at near-point-blank with an airsoft pistol with minimal colored lines through the...
-HORRIBLY wobbly, the stands are absolutely awful
For the price, this monitor is worthwhile. Video is great, but if you do a lot of reading, you may find it hard on your eyes.
Price, good picture, lots of connections, great warranty
Text didn't seem sharp, limited stand adjustments, soft picture from anti-glare
This monitor is easy to set up, evrn the stand has a super easy, hand screw / tighten piece. (With the option of a regular screw) the image is crisp and vibrant! The obly down side i found was that it came with VGA cords rather then HDMI ( was probably in the desc or something, im just giving a...
