Thanks to its fast TN panel and plenty of features, the ASUS VG248QG delivers a smooth gaming experience. However, there are equally fast IPS monitors available at the same price range, which also offer a better image quality.

The ASUS VG248QG is impressive for gaming. It has a high 165Hz refresh rate with native FreeSync support and G-SYNC compatibility to reduce screen tearing. Motion looks smooth thanks to the quick response time, and it has low input lag for a responsive gaming experience.

Low contrast ratio and poor black uniformity.
Had this thing for about three months and all I can say using this at 120hz or even the 165hz is a night and day difference. Crisp clear picture and good color. Lots of features that are easy to access just by using the joy stick on the right side of the monitor. Base is nice and solid.
They work pretty good no technical problems. I am happy with the buy.
Reading this reviews I’ve noticed most people talk about quality and blurred images , how it doesn’t run well and doesn’t match your expectations after reading the description. Let’s not forget that your pc has to be compatible with the monitor, your pc might be too weak for it or maybe you don’t...
good quality and screen resolution for gaming I run dual monitors and works great with other monitor
Overall this is a great monitor and I think it is offered at an excellent price. The two issues I have with this monitor are not huge but I thought I would note them - first, the power button is on the back on the right hand side of the monitor and almost every time I got to adjust the monitor I...
I bought two of these. They are good for adjustability and so far the picture seems so much nicer on them after making some adjustments from the defaults. Update: So I didn't realize there was a plastic piece that you could take off when it came to the cable management. Once I figured that out.
Built in speakers are okay has aux hook up for speakers, bluelight filter has 4 levels level 3 is decent level 4 is kind of dim, being able to adjust the angle of the screen is nice and rotating it makes plugging stuff in easier, nice button set up aswell has a analog which is different.
The screen is perfect for gaming. Brightness is good. The only two bad things I found with this is that the sounds from the in-monitor speaker is pretty bad. So I'd suggest getting your own speaker. Also, there's a constant whirr. It's a very high pitched noise and it bothers me while using.
the colors are so off when you first plug it in that my black background was completely grey, i messed around with both control panel brightness and the monitors for an hour before finding a sweet spot.. idk how they think its okay to ship in that state
Really good would recommend.
