The ASUS VG27WQ1B is a decent gaming monitor if you’re familiar with the usual downsides of budget VA panels. However, there are a few similar monitors by other brands that you should also check out.

High contrast ratio, Wide color gamut, Decent pixel density, Plenty of gaming features, including VRR and MBR up to 165Hz

-
Moderate ghosting in fast-paced games, mainly in darker scenes, Peak brightness could be higher, but it’s acceptable, Some units affected by VRR brightness flickering, Design lacks height and pivot adjustments

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ1B is great for gaming. It has a high 165Hz refresh rate and VRR support to reduce screen tearing. The input lag is also incredibly low. The response time is only decent and you may notice some motion blur, but it has a Black Frame Insertion feature to help improve the...

Incredibly low input lag., FreeSync support and G-SYNC compatibility., Great contrast ratio.

Slow response time in dark scenes.
The framerate and colors are great and the stand it comes with is quite nice as well. The rear buttons and toggle switch make changing settings easier than any other monitor I've previously had which was unexpected but is a nice convenience. I use this for work and gaming as my primary monitor now.
More than I expected especially having build-in speakers. Not loud but good enough
we were on the hunt for a cheap 165hz monitor. Turned out better than we expected. No ghosting that we could see and used HDMI and display port to reach those refresh rates.
Nice 2K monipor at a pretty good price. I have a few complains though:First, the coloration of the monitor is a bit too light. The colors are all lighter than they should be when I'm playing games or doing work.
Recently purchased this monitor for my gaming pc build. Very simple to install. Large monitor, perfect for multitasking. Quality is excellent; tremendous picture clarity, video, and gaming capabilities. Love that it has AMD FreeSync and Nvidia GSync compatibility.
ASUS continues to be preferred choice for all curved options, great quality and graphics very smooth with no delays. Only complaint is the adjustability with height which isn’t allowed
Great picture. I bought this in helping my daughter with her first build I knew asus made great boards but well i think they have a good monitor too.
Monitor works great and is a high quailty picture. I am having challenges to access the controls on the monitor.
Still playing on 1080p? Upgrade to this 1440p monitor! It's fantastic. No complaints here.
My first 2K Monitor, with 165hz. Great monitor, only, it does require high PC specs if you’re looking to maximize your visuals.
