Yes, the Asus Chromebook Flip C434 ranks among the best Chromebooks on the market. The new upgrade from the Taiwanese manufacturer has taken up the best features of its predecessor (the C302) while offering new settings that optimize its design and performance.
Elegant design, Excellent battery life, Performance, Connection technology
Limited tablet mode, High price for a Chromebook
At its core, the Flip is a great notebook that can ideally get better over time as Chrome OS continues to grow
World-class typing experience, Large immersive screen, Solid build quality
Only comes with 64GB of offline storage, You need to be aware of ChromeOS’ limitations, Weird volume rocker on the side
IPS display, Full HD resolution, outstanding battery life, keyboard backlighting, DisplayPort via USB-C, Power Delivery
dim display with poor contrast, display has uneven brightness distribution, little storage space, no SSD, high price
“The Asus Chromebook Flip C434 will let you get your work done in comfort and style.”
Finally, Asus' most exciting piece of hardware around
Sleek, premium design, Thin display bezels, Long battery life
Asus Chromebook Flip C434TA: Want maximum screen-to-body ratio? Then this “14in Chromebook in a 13in chassis” is for you
Slim ergonomic design, Crisp 1080p Full HD resolution
Poor sound quality at high volumes, Low-power processor
There are no major hardware issues here bar a slightly dodgy trackpad. However, the main issue at this asking price is getting to grips with what Chrome OS can’t do compared to Windows. Square yourself with that and this is one of the best Chomebooks going.
Good keyboard, Good screen, Solid battery life
Disappointing trackpad, Chrome OS’s apps are still weak
This is one of the top high-quality Chromebooks, and a better buy than a Pixelbook, but this entire category has a few issues
Bold, slim-surround screen, Good battery life, Solid keyboard
Plastic trackpad doesn’t match the rest for quality, Flaky app support, More versatile Windows laptops available at the price
The Flip C434TA has some of the best performance we’ve seen in a Chromebook. It looks good, is comfortable to use, and the touchscreen adds versatility especially when paired with Android games.
Powerful performance, Large storage, Compatible with Android apps
Floppy hinge, Quite pricey
very nice build quality...love the feel and look(thin and sturdy). I like the screen color, brightness and resolution, even though I’ve never seen a laptop bright enough for my tired old eyes on certain occasions. the screen aspect(16:9) and small bezels are very pleasing...
After a month's usage: Positives: Quick, easy setup Screen brightness and color are very nice Web surfing and streaming video - very fast response So far, looks to be high quality construction; sturdy hinges Responsive touchpad Need to improve: Backlit keyboard - good in weak light but makes...
I’m very happy with this laptop. I did some research on which laptops are the best for your money as of 2019. This one kept popping up in many reviewers videos as one of the best options.
My 8 year old 3rd grade kid could not attend school during the lockdown. School was using Google classroom to deliver remote teaching and for class works. Bought this laptop as it integrates with google services so well that an 8 year old kid had no problem navigating the machine within 3 days of...
Technically, as close as you can get to a "perfect" computer as you can get if you can live without Windows. Quality-wise comparable to a MacBook.
For all those saying that the keyboard isn't bright enough... it's adjustable. You can turn it up high enough that I can see it outside! Seriously, performs like a gaming laptop for half the price. Battery life is ridiculous. I use it all day on full brightness and charge it when I get home.
Love it! Light weight. Very sleek and professional looking. The finished are what sold us. The speed is also a drastic improvement from any traditional laptop.
I wa shocked at the price in the beginning thinking this is going to be A waste of my money, but i am rather happy with my purchase. It runs smoothly right down to the battery at 1%. Turns on nicely and works great. Figuring out how to run a chromebook was probably the hardest thing about this buy.
The Asus C434 is a chromebook that has everything I was looking for. The M3 processor is fast without a fan, all aluminum build, back lit keyboard, 14 inch screen in not much more space than a 12 inch and can be used as a tablet and also tent mode. The screen is bright and at 1080p.
I researched the heck out of these chromebooks before buying this one. This was my first one of these and I was concerned that it would be cheaply made or be less useful than the higher end laptops I've been buying for years. Didn't have any prior experience with Asus either so not sure about them.
