Asus takes the opposite approach of the first version that could be categorized in the upper price and performance sector: The manufacturer apparently ordered a brand-name, quality tablet for a budget price. We will find out just how obvious the extreme cutbacks are in the following report.
-
+
screen's overall quality, decent input devices, accurate localization via GPS, expansion options, long battery life, superb price-performance ratio in total
-
-
screen's low resolution, slow card reader, no high-speed WiFi 802.11ac, long charging times

The bigger the tablet, the bigger the screen or display and because displays remain the biggest battery drainer on an Android tablet, tablets with bigger displays don't often last that long on a single charge.

In all the Zenpad range is a truly welcome move and entry to the market. Priced nicely with echoes of the Nexus 7 legacy here and there and no real compromises with the hardware. You are getting what you pay for and knowing upfront how well it should really operate.

Asus has been releasing some of the best phones in the market recently and the same can be said about the Asus ZenPad 8.0 Z380KL tablet. This is not the first tablet from Asus and they have a good experience on how to manufacture a tablet that not only works well but is also loved by the users.

The ASUS ZenPad 8.0 Z380KL is the bigger 8-inch display brother of the recently launched ASUS ZenPad tablet series. Featuring tech specs that include a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 4G LTE, we managed to get some time with the tablet and promptly did an unboxing...

The ASUS ZenPad 8.0 Z380KL is the first ASUS ZenPad tablet to go for 4G LTE connectivity while maintaining the same overall ZenPad clutch case-like design, albeit in an 8-inch display size.

Christmas is normally a time that folks start looking for a cheaper tablet to appease a younger child or to slip down the side of an armchair for quick usage and there are a bunch of online lists of the best tablet to grab for not too little money.

Back in August, Asus hosted the ZenFestival in Delhi where it unveiled a bunch of smartphones like the Zenfone 2 Laser , Zenfone 2 Deluxe , and the Zenfone Selfie . It also quietly took the wraps off two tablets, one of which was the ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) .

Asus ZenPad isn’t a revolutionary device or the best your money can buy, but its utility revolves heavily around the Audio Cover that houses a Dolby 5.1 channel speaker system. Even though the cover is quite expensive, and the Asus ZenPad 8.0 weighs over half a kilo with it, plus loses all of its...

In the past few years, we have seen a huge leap in the smartphone specifications growing from dual core to octa-core processors. Only a few tablet manufacturers are there with octa-core processors and ASUS ZenPad 8.0 is among them.
To start with everything is the same as the old zenpad 8 with Intel Atom inside. The new chip is a drastic improvement, scrolling up and down and swiping side to side has no lag. The pad is very responsive. Loading time on apps and games are also shorten from the previous version.
- dislike charging port on this tablet as well as Samsung tablets. These ports tend to bend the pins over time especially when kids are charging them. Would be better with USB C where it wouldn't matter which direction one plugs it in.

- Front and Back Camera. - GPS - Can play Pokemon Go.
-
-
- Only Cheap cases available specific to this product.
Asus announced this model as a budget devise and it does exactly that and better. I have not found a gel case for it yet, it could be because the model is recent or not popular enough. It does the job for me.
Excellent. Affordable, responsive, customizable, miracast ... just what I needed

dual band .a selling point very fast and sturdy well worth the money

Nice clear easy to read screen. Not sparkling performance but adequate for my needs and good at the price.

Battery life seems a bit short. Better if WiFi turned off when not needed. Lots of unwanted apps that cannot be removed
Really enjoying this tablet except for the camera quality could be better but that's not the main reason why I bought it.
