Great sounding little mic. Tone was good. It was purchased as a request when I was shooting the president of the company that makes this. While I'm not an audio guy, it sounded good to me and we shot interviews in both a large auditorium as well as a small audio booth 10x10'.
I bought this mic looking for a budget option to my Countryman B3 lav. I think this is a great little lav mic. The sound is clean, very even, and it doesnt over excentuate the low end. The build quality is quite nice and feels rugged. AKG is generous with a very long cable.
