Very sharp, better than the Zeiss 25/2. Which wasn't as sharp as my adapted Canon 16-35 f/4. For precise focus On the A7r2, I focus wide open in A mode w/magnified view & stop down to expose. Not ideal! I would have preferred auto aperture. Off of the tripod I zone focus using the distance scale.

A masterpiece. Manual focus is not a negative. At this focal length the depth of field is so deep that it can be a grab and shoot lens if you need it to be. What's not said in the description and, in my opinion, should be, is that with your Sony camera the fstop can only be set with the aperture...

Sharp! I sold my Sony Zeiss 16-35 2.8 to purchase this lens and I made the right decision. I would have preferred auto focus but can live without it. I use this lens for architecture and landscape. The best image quality achieved at f8.

Light and small with ridiculous image quality. Sharp as a tack corner to corner with great contrast. Epic lens that is worth every penny.

I really like this lens. My photography is better with this lens because it makes me pick exactly what I want in focus. No more handing over the focus point to autofocus. It works well on both my A7R2 and my 6300. You also get the EXIF data from this lens.

Yes it is heavy and well-constructed. Yes it is very compact. Yes it produces very, very beautiful images. I'm using it for architecture and landscapes so AF would only add unneccessary weight and size to a 21mm lens for me. The lens produces stunning images on my A7r.

Yes it is manual. But I've got full control with my SONY A7Rii. Need a small hand to work on this lens. Hood comes off easily. A little loose. Overall it is a great lens.

This is not so much a review of the Loxia 21mm because I only have it for 5 days and because of physical problems I am not able to go out shooting at the moment. But I can tell from the pictures I took inside the house that this lens looks very promising.

image is great. just like a lot of reviews said, it is so tight that it is very hard to take it off from the camera body.

great landscape lens. focus is easy where I shoot at f8. with thesony a7 you dont even need a tripod, even with low light. very compact. my heavy cameras and lenses are collecting dust.
