We use this mixer for major events and a daily news program. It just works! I really like the GEQ mode for checking where instruments are in the mix.
I started my own sound company this past summer. I had used a tf3 and instantly liked the series. So i purchased the tf1 for my business. It takes alot if the guesswork out of mixing. Setting gain is super easy. Compression and Eq are a breeze.
I switch the TF1 to my previous mixing board and the Yamaha TF1 sound better.
Best mixing desk we’ve had to date time will tell had to get a flight case as to expensive to cart around gigs in van keeping it as new
First, my perspective: I mix FOH full-time for my basic living, 300 shows/year on a CL5 in a 2000 seat house. This was my choice for my personal rig, where a minimum footprint & cabling becomes very important.
