Yamaha PRO 400 Over-Ear Headphones (White)

Totally agree with 5 star reviews. Headset quite bis for my small head!, so padded on inside of headband with cycle helmet foam ajuster, Job Done.

Good quality headphones. I would give it 5 star but I didn't like that one of the chords if you shook it a certain way there would be interference. But thats not a big issue as it was pretty sturdy and didn't happen often.

I have the PSB M4 1's, the AKG K551's, the Yamaha HPH 200's and these Yamaha Pro 400's in black. They are all great headphones but these Pro 400's are my real go to's. They are clearer than the PSB's, fuller than the AKG's, and have a bigger scale and presence than the HPH 200's.

The headphones have a great, lively sound with solid bass, crystal-clear highs and wide, airy sound stage. They are very easy to drive and give their full, big-can sound when using iphone/ipod/android without any problems. They also have in-line controls for ipod/iphone.

Superb sound quality and very well constructed.

Incredible package. Sound is clear and impecable, noise canselation is good although on airplanes may not be the best. Cable extensions are a great accessory. Can take them off. Only thing would have to say is head band may be a bit uncomfortable if set tight.

I really like using these headphones. They sound brilliant. They remind me of the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II Closed Headphone for ENG/DJ use with split headband, 1.5m steel cable/70 ohms right angle. The sound is wonderfully natural. Punchy, clear and the soundstage is stunning.

I was very impressed with these headphones. First impressions were excellent and straight out of the box it was possible to see that a lot of care and attention has been lavished on this by Yamaha.

These come in an incredibly smart-looking box, which although it is just a box, enhances the 'luxury' feel of these headphones. Since May 2014, now August 2015, they've broken. The rigid plastic head-strap has cracked in two places simply from my head stretching the plastic out (and I have a small head) but I've just this second dropped them off the desk onto a carpeted floor and one ear-piece has snapped off.
