Hooked this up to my receiver and it has fantastic sound. Paid a little more than I would have liked but it seems to be exactly what I want. Haven't used it much because its upstairs and we're in the process of turning that room into a media room so we're not up there much yet.
I have this paired with another Yamaha smaller (8 in) subwoofer connected to my Yamaha receiver for 7.2 Surround. Sounds great-you will notice the difference. No rattling, really deep. My Livingroom is small this is perfect. 4 stars because the power button is in the back...
This is my second woofer connect to my karaoke system, after connect this one I realize my old woofer is junk need to replace, this woofer is much faster in response time and lot less noise when I turn on receiver and microphone.
Had to replace old receiver, new one came with a sub pre-out and not an amped sub. That meant I couldn't use my old sub. So I bought this one, sub cleans up sound well allowing you to hear the bass, more so than the old one.
Based on the price, though I knew Yamaha had a great reputation; I was surprised by the quality, weight, fit and finish was similar to the subwoofer I replaced. A much higher priced unit that lasted 2.5 years with very limited use...
didn't take long for it to get here once I got it I hooked it up sounds great thank you very much great job
I needed a subwoofer for home use to use with a Yamaha SX900 keyboard. I did not want anything fancy or expensive and this ticked all the boxes for me. The Yamaha subwoofer has added a pleasant fullness when added to the keyboard's built in speakers.
Was reduced. Don’t need the wireless features, but good on wired input. No adjustable crossover.
Using a wired subwoofer wasn't a good option for me. So I chose this wireless subwoofer, in part, since it would pair with the Yamaha receiver I was purchasing. The setup was really confusing. I consider myself very technically savy too.
This integrated well with my Yamaha RX-V850 and provides the bass my mains are lacking. The setup and balancing was easy.
