I used this for a drum sub, it does the job and then some. Initially, I bought the ev 12 sub, but the yamaha smokes it. If ur thinking about a small sub and ur torn between the two, take from someone who already wasted his money on other inferior subs.
Music sound a lot better with this subwoofer, use this subwoofer with my two DXR8 pa speakers.
Certified Beast !!! If your looking for long lasting quality this is the right choice. I demo these in a local store and was blown away. I had to dig a little deeper in my pockets but it's worth it. The bass fills the room of any small to medium size gig of 100 to 400 people easily.

Use additional pregnant DXR10 . Using the high pass filter upstream of the speakers. Correct rendering with dynamic bass effective. Use to exit battery (GC) and especially low. Rendering music is good and adds punch missing pregnant.
Great Sub Bass cabinet, it kicks hard did not even crank it past 1/2, paired with small 8" two way tops incredible sound, even better with the 10" Yamaha's. It's a bit bigger & heavier than I expected but worth every penny.
