The speaker sounds clear and loud. Great for use as a monitor specially for DJ's.
I'm a DJ and do Small and Large Events. I've had them for 3 years and have never failed me. They have a Tone of Headroom. At all the venues were I used them, I was never able to put them all the way up as they are just too loud. Always wanted to get a chance to do an outside Gig and got my chance.
So far I'm extremely pleased with these. They look great and seem durable. Controls and connections are easy. Headroom is significant for 12s. Connected to a mixer, you cannot tell these are on until you send a note, very quiet. Sound is great and they seem resistant to feedback.
Great sounding speaker very smooth, dose not hurt the ears at a lound volume. You can stand right in front of it with a Mic in your hands at high settings without feedback. Also produces a long throw across the room. This speakers could be used as a stage monitor or a main front of house.
I use it for over 2 years. I tried ACUTE 15 Audiophony that sounded good but also less powerful. What I like is the power, sound quality with a weight of just over 20kg in an easily transportable volume.
Passionate about live music, I finally found a gem of sound technology unmatched at this price for professionnels.Tous was already said in previous reviews breathtaking. After several tests against a material of high quality but very large, the DSR 112 gives a perfect reproduction at high sound...
I used the last 6 months and I'm very happy I ve 4 with 4 boxes DSR 118 the whole sounds serious really nothing to say, and it also works without the boxes I have full use of other systems before JBL. Martin Audio. Dynaccord. .....
One important thing that often as Yamaha attention to detail quality finishing an impression of robustness, reliability and materials already congratulations because in this price range this is not always the case.
My opinion is based on a short term use of these speakers, I used to rent. In short, they have a large power reserve and twelve inches is simply stunning! As for the quality, it seems that here we reach the top level.
I posted a simple review for the 15" model. This review I will go more in depth. For the DSR112, I was blown away how pure, and clean this cabinet sounded. It was very warm, and crisp, exactly what I was hoping.
