Whynter WC282TS 19 Inch Black Freestanding Wine Cooler

Seems like no matter what I set the temp to, it shows 54 degs, which while not a bad temp for storing reds, it's still not what i'm asking for. When I first set it up, it was accurate and I ran it at 57, but it's showing 54 regardless all winter long, even if I set it to 60 just as an experiment.

I am pleased with this purchase. This was a replacement cooler for an old one I had. It is quiet, very quiet. Some reviews stated noise but mine is sitting on ceramic tile floor in a large open room and I don't hear a thing. (I believe leveling the unit is imperative.

Pleased with purchase so far. It cools to around 52-55 degrees which is perfect for long term storage. I tend to let my reds warm up slightly before serving. Spacious and it looks rather nice in my dining room. It's as quiet as a mouse compared to my compressor refrigerator.

If you know what to expect this works fine. It is quiet and keeps my reds at 56 degrees.

The only complaint I have about this refrigerator is that you cannot fit "fat" bottles of wine on the shelves. As I usually order wine online, this is a problem. The slim "bourdeaux" bottles fit fine - the chunkier "burgundy" bottles don't fit on the racks, such as the ones that Pinot Noir normally...

The temperature on the door shows 54 degree; however, the inside temperature for the top 2 shelves stay between 61 and 62 degree; the bottom shelves stays around 58 degree. I am thinking about returning it!

Looks nice but it makes a constant humming noise that is even audible from another room.
