Whirlpool 3.8 Cu. Ft. White 30" Top Load Electric Washer - Soaking Cycles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would love a complete user manual to fully be able to use and understand all the features of my new machine, but it has been impossible to get it off your website.

This is a great basic washer for the price. I looked at reviews of this washer online before buying and quite a few people said it makes weird, annoying noises. The 'noises' are a little different that my previous, very old washer. I guess it depends on where the washer is located.

I love this machine. While it does sound a bit like R2-D2, it does exactly what is expected; it cleans clothes. With no agitator it holds nearly twice the amount of clothing that my old machine held. I prefer the old fashioned knobs and buttons to the digital keypads, and this washer fits the bill.

Not sure it washes clothes with the little water it allows; don't like the start button in front to start the washer--it will be the first go. Wish I could have seen a demo first before buying the machine.

I replaced a Whirlpool machine that I had owned for almost 20 years. So far this machine has met my expectations. The tub is huge! The noises are different but not objectionable. I'm not a consumer that goes in for the bells and whistles. I just want a reliable machine that gets the job done.

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars, instead of 5, is that I really wanted a front loader. My last top loader did not get my clothes clean. However, I had severe space limitations. This washer fit our 27" depth, it has an agitator and it has a pretty large capacity.

I've washed several loads to catch up, since I get behind,the old washer pump failed. This unit seems to wash my work cloths and bedding sheets cleaner. I'm still experimenting with the different cycles, so for I love it. It's a lot more quite than my other washer, with a lot more options.
