Whirlpool 30 Inch Over the Range 2.1 cu. ft. Capacity Microwave Oven

Just finished installing the new Whirpool Micro Wave oven. Rated #1 by Consumers Report. Installation went smoothly and thus far the oven is working as expected...would highly recommend ABt as the source for ANY of your Appliance needs.

I have had this for 3 months and really enjoy the using the shelf and listening to the music chime at the conclusion of the cooking process. Ones question how do you cancel an option. The only way I can accomplish that is to open the door. There is NOT a cancel button.

Have had this microwave for a few weeks and are pleased with the reduced noise compared to our previous model. Our only initial complaint was that the mounting holes required in the floor of the cabinet above were located differently than the previous unit.

Buttons are hard to push. Defrost function is awful- can’t control the defrosting by time. It makes you enter weight instead. No control. The kitchen timer function is useless- beeps once and shuts off. I would not buy this model again.

does not have 4 fan speeds as indicated, only high and low. medium and medium high are the same as high. Defrost settings are awkward. no way to defrost a simple piece of bread without putting it on beef, poultry, fish or quick defrost. Have to stand in front of microwave and watch for 10 seconds

I have just started using it so I don’t have an opinion on its operation at this point. I will say that it was considerably more difficult to install than it’s predecessor that survived 12 years of power outages and brown outs.

We have never had a microwave with a sensor before. This feature is great. Our food, coffee and tea are warmed to just the right temperature. This microwave is good looking. The fan works well underneath. The only thing I would change is the light underneath. It is not very bright.

We are delighted with our new microwave. The clean design goes nicely with our kitchen. Ease of use, large capacity and numerous shortcuts are really great! We were very pleased with the moderate price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The microwave works well as rated. It is much more quiet than the one it replaced. My only complaint is that the interior microwave oven light is very weak. It is almost not useful. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the purchase.
