If the Western Digital Red WD40EFRX 4TB was a winning formula for a network attached storage system hard drive, then what makes the Western Digital Red WD60EFRX 6TB? Being a larger capacity model with the latest NASware 3.0 firmware, it is hard to see why the newest in the lineup is not yet another...
Using it for my file server. Wished it had a 5 years warranty but that now seems reserved for more high-end disks (e.g. Red Pro, Black, etc).

Warranty only 3 years
- Out of 65 drives purchased, 55 of which have been in use for five months; only one drive has failed. The drive passed SMART, short, and extended tests and only failed on the full format / write zeros to drive.
