WD 4TB Desktop Everyday 3.5" Hard Drive

Bought 2 of these for home server, constantly on and reading and writing...yet to have either fail after at least 5 years use

This drive stores and loads all of my applications and games. I see a lot of people talk about game load times on SSD's, but the performance of this drive is such that I've never thought about putting all my games on a SSD to squeeze out a half second faster load times.

Both of the hard drives I bought failed in 16 months ! Quite ridiculous, never had hard disk fail on me that quickly, and they were used in a RAID system, horrible situation when you lose your data like this,

Stores everything as it should. It's as fast as you can expect from a HDD. Nothing to complain about. I've always trusted WD and this drive has reaffirmed my trust.

Expansive capacity good reliability. I am currently using this in a Drobo 5D raid system. I have had no issues. The green series is like a less expensive version of the reds. I chose the green this time because of price when i was shopping.

Bought a pair a couple of years ago for photo storage. Still working just fine.

it is serving me well

I know I should use WD blue or black for this but I use this drive to hold my games. No major issues on loading times and it's still going strong two years later
