Vortex Crossfire 10x42 Roof Prism Binocular

The cons list includes some important flaws but it would be difficult to expect a lot from a roof prism 42 mm set of binoculars costing just about 100 USD. We must admit in this price segment the Vortex Crossfire undoubtedly deals the cards.

  solid casing,, low coma,, slight astigmatism,, good quality BaK-4 prisms,, good quality antireflection coatings,, sharp image already from 1.15 metres,, negligible flares,, good blackening inside the inner tubes,, such good warranty conditions are a real phenomenon in this class of equipment.

  loud clicking by individual focusing,, dirt inside one tube,, low sharpness at the edge of the field,, objective lenses are closer to 41 mm than to 42,, real field of view distinctly narrower than in the specifications.

So this is my first pair of binos that I own, usually I’m borrowing from friends and family. These are crystal clear and and easy on the eyes. I’m not new to Vortex products, and I actually own several scopes and red dots from them and all of their products are awesome.

These 10x42 Crossfires are unbelievable. I'm a street guy. Sitting in my car I grabbed the Crossfires and couldn't believe my eyes. I could read the license plates on cars blocks away. If you are looking for some cheap entertainment and looking for something to do these Crossfires are the ticket.

Great, clear, perfect magnification. Used for scouting and they were great. I would recommend a bino harness though. Any higher magnification would be hard to hold still and focus. Lifetime guarantee is great too.

Very compact and the optics are so bright and clear. Comparable to much more expensive binoculars. Love the large field of view.Haven't had them out in the weather, so I can't comment on their ability to resist fogging up.

I don't have a wallet full of cash, but with the Vortex Crossfire you don't need to take out a load to get a quality pair of binoculars. I've had a lot of binos over the years, but these are by far the best at this price point. Super sharp, clear images in low light conditions.

These are excellent Binoculars for the price. Sharp and clear picture, lightweight with robust frame making them extremely durable. The package comes with a carrying case, sling for your neck as well as sling for the case.

The vortex name and warranty says it all. I also love the grip and the weight they are very grippable in cold foggy conditions. With the warranty that comes with them in the shipping speed you can’t beat these get these for hunting season or birdwatching!

I am a bird/wildlife watcher and needed a new pair of binoculars. The packaging was secure, instructions for the item are clear and concise and the warranty is unconditional, so that's pretty good all the way round.

Best binoculars I've ever owned. Light with crystal clear glass. Perfect for bird watching and looking forward to taking it on my first hunt. Wife and father in law love it, will be picking up at least one more pair before Christmas.
