The ViewSonic TD2230 offers touch screen capabilities on a smaller screen, which is perfect for those with limited desk space.
Outstanding monitor. Looks great, touch responds great, and it works out of the box on Windows 10, Ubuntu (linux) 16.04, and Chromebox. I bought the 22" first. I liked it so much, I bought the 27" later.
Great looking product, but having to use a USB Type A to USB Type B cable to use touch defeats the purpose (when many others for the same price from HP or Planar don’t require and or HID compliant without adjust HDMI).
Touch screen has issues with raspberry pi with raspbian OS, probably not an issue with the monitor itself likely a driver issue with that linux distribution.
I really like this monitor. I bought two touch screen monitors to use in vehicle mounted project to monitor my Holley EFI system. This one was too big so I wound up using it in the living room on the coffee table. Image quality is very good and the USB hub is nice.
I like the built-in positionable stand, which allows you to lay the monitor flat when fully retracted or at a low angle for easier touch functions. I find it a little hard use the touch screen in the fully vertical position.
Great colour, and built and designed well with the exception that there are zero drivers available for Mac OS. I understand that their market is mainly PC users, but this is really not acceptable.
I really want to like this product, but various design choices leave me feeling that this is the product you make when you don't care too much. Let's get what works out of the way first: 1. The panel itself is good quality and the OSD works fine.
It works well for a touchscreen. Pens and writing notes or anything remotely accurate is a no go
Touchscreen would not work despite reloading drivers multiple times. Otherwise it worked as advertised. Running on an ASUS ultrabook with original Windows 10 Home 64bit (not an upgrade from Windows 8). Even my company's IT support couldn't figure out why touchscreen would not work.
