Velbon tripods are well made, sturdy, with excellent unique head, and at a good price.
This tripod is awesome
Easy to use and makes life a whole lot easier. Love how the legs clamp to hold the legs together.
I had previously seen it at a local store and notice that the head was all metal, hence sturdier. The price was a ok if I consider what the local store sold it for.
Strength: Nice fluid head with one lever for tilt and panning. Very good plate that mounts to camera and locks tightly with tripod. Legs extend smoothly and one of the best features is the way to raise the height.
