Great to have attached to both my large lenses and camera body. Easy to switch and mount at a seconds notice.
This quick release plate help in changing from camera to spotting scope on the same tripod.Real time saver for equipment swap for capturing those shots in the great outdoors.
Easy to attach. Screw always seems to settle just right into the screw hole. The weight seems right. I got this one as a spare incase I misplace its sister.
Standard release for the Vanguards GH-200 Pistol grip. You need a spare when using more than one camera or a camera and another lens with separate connection. Great system
I purchased this item to have as a spare while out taking Landscape images.
Helpful tool for the Canon 60D to lock in the shot at the precise angle. Also has trigger release and camera cable release built in. Top of the line by Vanguard.
Ordered a second one of these as a backup for my Vanguard tripod with BBH-200 ballhead. I've been using this tripod and head for four years, they receive rugged use and have continued to work flawlessly. The quick mounting plate attaches securely to the bottom of my Nikon cameras.
Fluidity of the ball head was not good and for the price, I expected more. Built quality is top notch but did n I t serve my needs
The overall quality is there, my only observation would be that if you pull the handle to move it, it stay difficult to move even with minimal stiffness adjustment. This could be to prevent the camera to fall to the front by mistake. Very satisfied. Trigger work very well.
Tricky to set up the tension, but it's just what I needed. It's able to pan while keeping the ball locked. Great ball head.
