Used it the 1st time going to the zoo.It fits my D-750 with battery pack and 70-200 nikon f2.8 lens. I also had my tamron 28-300 lens in the bag. You could probably squeeze in anther lens. However the bag gets real heavy. Like others have said" you will be switching shoulders a lot.
I wasn't sure about this bag because it is more narrow than some of my other bags but was I surprised! Because it it taller it holds as much if not more than my others. Lots of pockets and extra places to put things. I use this as my everyday bag.
I needed a bag to carry with me all the time, and this one fits the bill. I carry my Canon 7d MK II with the Canon 70-200 f2.8 attached, Canon 24-105 f4, and still have room for another lens, and my many misc. extras.
I just bought a Retro 5 and a Retro 20. I haven't used either one very much yet. My first impression is they are just what I wanted. The quality is excellent. They are very comfortable for their size. The 5 is perfect for a full size DSLR and a medium sized lens like my 17-55.
Love this bag..I carry a DSLR with 70-200mm lens attached, 24-105mm lens, tele-converter, cleaning gear and filters with room to spare. Besides being able to carry the gear I frequently use the bag also provides good protection for the equipment.
This bag will hold an attached 70-200 lens vertically. I was hoping I could squeeze in 2 bodies, one with the 70-200 and the other with a 24-70. Alas I was unable to do that (might have been possible if I didnt have L-brackets on both bodies).
Nice bag. Deep enough to carry a couple of older long lenses, yet feels strong and is light weight. Imagine it should last a number of years.
Think Tank makes great product, but the Photo Retrospective 20 shoulder bag it not only strong, but You can fit all your camera equipment inside safely. I've taken this bag all over the United States for shoots, and it's just perfect.
The form factor, materials, attention to detail are so good! Especially the form factor is the one that matches me the best. A bag for commuting with a gripped DSLR, including with 70-300 with hood, also usual daily electronics - phones tablets, drives, flash memory.
The bag came as described. It is well constructed and offers lots of storage for a variety of camera equipment as well as a place to carry a 10" iPad. Even though it is not the fault of the bag, it is quite heavy when loaded with all my gear.
