This case makes the Tascam DR-680 more accessible! The Recorder it self doesn't come with a case but it does come with a strap. This case works in conjunction with the strap the device comes with.
This case provides adequate protection for the DR-680 and does so as a price less than the completion. All ports remain accessible. The pouch on top holds the power adapter and USB cable, but nothing else.
This case fits the DR-680, tightly enough that you need to work it in. The pegs from the DR-680s stick through clear plastic on the sides. Dual Velcro secured flaps cover the inputs and outputs on each side, with additional covers for the top mounted controls and the bottom mounted batteries.
An excellent case. I would have given it 5 stars except that it was very snug fitting and took me a while to get it in, but once the 680n was in there it was very well protected with access to all the plugs and controls. The clear front flap is a nice touch.
Super nice case made for this recorder! If you are planning on buy it, it works for the DR680 but probably not for other recorders. Awesome case!
Fits like a second skin, takes some time to put on, a lot of pulling and stretching, but it is an exact fit! Great for protecting your recorder in the field, outdoors. Full of hidden protective flaps, clear covers and velcro fasteners.
It is a good case for free but fairly useless when you need to carry Lav receivers but it does protect the recorder. I wouldn't purchase this item independently. I would spend my money on a much better bag with rom for extra battteries and receivers.
Gives a whole new feel - as well as protection - to the Tascam DR680 which feels cheap, because it is.Well constructed and designed. I was skeptical at paying $ for a case, but it is a good investment if you plan on keeping your 680 for a while.
Nice bag with only 1 flaw , like others bags from Tascam .... No extra pockets !! Just one it's enough to carry mics, cables or anything you want but as I said, will do the job to carry the recorder without any problem. Fit tight.
Exactly what I need. Carries and protects my recording unit from the sun and dust while doing field recording. A must have for any field recording engineer!
