AWESOME PICTURE, SOUND NOT BAD FOR SMALL ROOM, GREAT BUY ON THIS TV!

For the money, the picture and features are phenomenal. I’m hard to impress with this stuff and I was indeed impressed. Only two things bothered me: the remote is tiny and the volume buttons are placed a little wonky. Also, YouTube isn’t an application available to the tv, which is a disappointment.

THERE ARE MANY INSTANCES ABOUT THIS PROBLEM ONLINE. NO ONE CAN GET ROKU, TCL, OR DIRECTV TO FIX THE PROBLEM, AND IT APPEARS THAT THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN AROUND FOR OVER 1 YEAR. IF YOU HAVE A DIRECTV DVR, YOU WILL NEED TO USE BOTH THE TCL/ROKU REMOTE AND THE DIRECTV REMOTE WHILE WATCHING THE TCL TV.

Simple interface and remote to customize your app layout and visual/audio settings. I haven’t found an option to save presets but there are modes to choose from. The picture quality is really nice, has good input response, and a good selection of ports for different hardware.

Worked fine then suddenly the screen went blank from bottom right to upper left. It's like the colored LEDs had a cascading failure. TCL support submitted a warranty claim but immediately denied it. I've never had a TV die suddenly like this.

The picture looks good when it's not in HDR but the HDR looks terrible and unfortunately, there's no way to disable the HDR (even through secret menus). However, the biggest issue for me has been HDCP compliance issues.
