I bought this TV about 6 months ago to use as a main TV in our moderately sized family room. It was purchased to replace the exact same model (s535) purchased a year prior in the 50” size. That set was moving to our bedroom.
I like this new TV. I have two TCL 55 inch TV sets. One is the cheapest old and a new one with HDR technology. Initially, I don't understand the effect about HDR. However, when I put the new TV set in the same location as my old one.
Going from a Samsung Qled 55' to this was a bit of an adjustment (accident with old tv), but overall happy with the purchase. Pros - bargain price. Quick startup, seamless internet setup and roku app works flawlessly and has all my apps including hbo, Disney, Hulu, prime, Netflix etc.
Flor provided excellent, courteous and professional support when I had trouble with a image issue with my television after about 9 months of use.
I really like this tv. Since I have cut the cord, as far as cable tv goes, the built in Roku is handy for streaming tv. The tv has an optical out, which I have connected to my audio receiver. The picture is great
The picture on this TV is nice. The speakers are good enough for me. I am not a gamer or a picture/sound snob. I just wanted a TV that works and doesnt have a crazy amount of ads in its ecosystem. At first it was nice but the software has become worse and worse.
We have had this TV for several years now - it gets its updates seamlessly, quick app access, looks and sounds great!
This TV is amazing! The colors are so bright. The setup was so easy....less than 30 minutes to remove old and then hookup new TV with all the setup!! This TV is well worth the money.
I have very little tolerance for inaccurate color reproduction and high latency displays. Fortunately, the 55" S535 only has one of these issues. By adjusting the settings on my 49" LED 4 series TCL (TCL), BENQ and ASUS monitors, a Samsung tablet, and 2 Pixel phones I can achieve near uniform PPI,...
