My Summit wine fridge is the loudest appliance I have ever had. It makes a gurgling sound constantly, which the factory insists is normal. Also shelves are spaced poorly and do not hold the stated capacity.
Bought this cooler to replace 18" trash compactor. Slid right in and I love it. Great to find temperature range from 38 - 60. Only complaint is that the door does not stay closed easily. People close the door like a refrigerator and it does not stay closed.
Broke in a week, 2x repair person has tried to fix it. Finally, Summit is sending a replacement, but not before a lot of missed work due to meeting repair man.
This is the second one. It arrived with hidden damage. The first unit looked perfect, except it would not work/cool. Turns out it was never filled with coolant or it all leaked out on its long journey from China. Unrepairable, no one would take responsibility. Still sitting in my garage.
We bought this because it is a hard size to find, but this fridge never worked well. It did not hold the temp and often froze up and had to be turned off to remove the ice. Then is started to overheat. Finally it died. This was in less then three years.
It's a nice wine refrigerator with a wide temperature range and good looks. We got this to replace an under-counter trash compactor. We needed to raise it. The adjustable feet should have come with a second nut to secure it at a higher level, but I had some in my toolbox.
