Stanton STR8-150 review - by guest reviewer Wozza - March 2005 There is a lot of hype around this turntable. Can the STR8-150 live up to the hype or does it fall short of the mark? Before we go into he review I would like to point out that this turntable will not become the industry standard.
I owned and used Technics turntables for about 5 years before selling them and getting out of DJing due to a number of professional and personal reasons. Unbeknownst to me at the time that I sold my 1200s, Panasonic was several months away from ceasing production.Fast forward a couple of years...
take my word readers, this deck is class, i`ve had these turntables for about 6 months now, and i have no complaints at all, i had 1210`s mk2 before these babies and the stantons im afraid kick a*ss (sorry to all you technic fans) as im one myself..

NO DUST COVERS.
This is simply the best turntable on the market. It's got the quickest start and stop times, reverse button, key correction. I fill let down whenever I have to spin on Technic 1200's when I'm out. You will not find a better machine anywhere. I love it!
