The difference between the X850C and the X830C is the lack of the Triluminous Display in the X830C. Compared to the X900C and 950C top of the line Sony, the notable picture quality attributes missing in the X830C and the X850C are the Extended Dynamic Range – a feature which gives colors extreme...
Heard great things about this tv - also heard bad things about damage in shipment. I should have listened to the bad reviews. Box looked fine - spent an hour unpacking and setting it up - everything looked good until l turned it on - right third of the screen was black with what looked like cracks...
This 49" TV has it all. It has the slim look to integrate with any décor and includes every imaginable option for a TV here in mid-late 2016. The picture's color and clarity is stunning in news, drama and sports shows.
this is a great TV for a great price.
I love, love, love this tv! The picture is amazing. I couldn't ask for more in a tv.
Much better priced for similar specs from another major TV manufacturer
Superb picture, (somewhat weak sound, but mine is used with an AV receiver/home theater for audio), with many android apps for most streaming video (and can download more too), lots of input/output choices, and love built-in chromecast, and Miracast functionality as well as HDMI input from a laptop...
Great display and amazing colors, once you turn off all the motion enhancements. If you like android and have other android devices, it'll make a nice fit for you. A few major issues with this TV however. 1. The device closes it's network connection whenever the TV is shut off.
Excellent picture, easy setup, all the bells and whistles needed for today.
I bought the 49in Sony XBR900E ($1200) for my den, and the 40 in Samsung MU6800 ($400) for my bedroom. Very noticeable difference in picture quality. Made me feel good about spending the extra money on the Sony as I did consider getting the 50in Samsung instead.
We're very pleased with the performance and picture on this TV. Setup was pretty easy and I'm THRILLED we can use Netflix directly from the included remote instead of our smart phone! Not the cheapest TV and I'd prefer to know exactly how many backlight "zones" are included.
