Sony’s X850D is a pretty impressive piece of equipment. The Sony XBR-850-85" is better than the 75" sizes or smaller in the X850D catagory, according to Sony because the 85" uses a different panel type. The smaller sizes use an IPS based LCD panel which ALL reviews are based on, not on the 85" which uses a VA panel which makes the blacks more black.

Took a while to upgrade from our 65" Panasonic Plasma but this set was worth it. PS4 looks flawless, easy to set up, enough inputs and sleek frame. I checked out the Samsung but this set really brings back the XBR brand.

Junk it’s like a 2 buck Tv don’t buy it. I don’t think its a good buy
