Sony X800H Series 55" Class HDR 4K UHD Smart LED TV (2020)

We choose the Bravia because we have been happy with one we have had for about 12 years. We decided to upgrade to Class 4K UHD LED Android Smart TV HRD. We are completely happy with this new TV.

Quality and priced right for a 55 inch flat screen TV. Very easy to set up and it comes with loads of features. My last Sony TV was an LCD Semi-smart 3D-TV purchased in 2011 and runs 100%. I sold it for the new 2020 Sony TV as it works perfect with my Bravai Sony Home Theater surround sound system.

Great TV, but if you buy it because it says it has Bluetooth be aware. It will not pair with wireless Bluetooth headphones.

We really like everything about this TV. It was very easy to put together. We are both in our 70’s and it was fun putting the legs on and putting it in place. The hook up was easy, the HDMI ports were clearly marked. We use Comcast, I was able to follow the setup without calling Comcast.

Streaming services look fine, but cable programming is not as sharp as I would expect from a Sony.

Picture quality is very good. I had to return my unit because the audio output to receiver cuts off. In talking with CS they tell me to “soft-reset” the Unit when this happens. But the frequency of this is just too much to have to power cycle the unit every time.

Somewhat silly instructions to get the stand pieces on the tv. Made it more complicated than it needed to be. Picture quality is pretty amazing, but I noticed a spot of black. I thought (hoped) it was dirt but nope...it’s the screen. So disappointing.

I can't tell if it's on purpose or not but Sony slaps the bluetooth logo on the box and then neglects to make it clear that it does not support bluetooth headphones (only remotes and controllers). I had to buy an extra adapter for bluetooth audio.
