Even the most impressive HD/UHD televisions can have their performance undercut by mediocre sound. Televisions aren’t built to replace speakers, and the speakers installed on them by default are usually scarcely better than the cheapest tech on the market.
Took me a while to figure out the sound delay. The soundbar itself can only adjust the delay in positive increments. Meaning if your sound delay needs to go negative, it can't. I have the soundbar plugged into my ARC HDMI output from my Sony XBR X800H.
I upgraded from an older Vizio sound bar due to it having speaker distortion after several years. I primarily purchased this for Dolby ATMOS and would caution if you don't have a recent 2018 tv or newer as your streaming device, similar age bluray player, ROKU ultra, Apple TV 4k or Nvidia Shield...
Good sound, very crisp especially with newer dvds that support dolby atmos and dtx, however on older movies voices can be a little muttled. The sound options are great, cinema gives you an immersive experiance in movies.
Decided to add this a week after getting a 950 65 inch to enhance the experience. Okay the sound difference over the built in TV sound is deeper and richer and yes it will put out if you want to crank it for theater like boom. Love how it intigrates perfect with the TV to turn on and off with it.
This gives you a whole lot of sound in a little bit of space. It's also a breeze to set up. I connected it to my Samsung TV via Bluetooth so there are no wires going to the TV from it, and I had it set up in a few minutes.
Was looking all over for a new soundbar. Previously had a 5.1 vizio soundbar(VIZIO - SmartCast™ 38" 5.1-Channel Soundbar System with Subwoofer - Black)I liked the way the vizio sounded it was perfectly fine for me. I needed something simple not super crazy.
The sound it produces is quite good; maybe audiophiles wouldn’t be satisfied but I am. The problem, though, is the delay between the picture on the TV and the sound from the sound bar. I have tried many things to fix the problem but nothing has worked. I am considering returning it.
I bought this soundbar, about 6 months, and i can say its the best for this price. Very important for the best sound is the source and the distance that you can set up from menu. Set up the distance until you heard the best Dolby Atmos. Goodluck. Sorry for my english, is not my mother language.
Can't get enough bass
Good quality sounds.
