Sony has refined the HT-NT5 for extreme musicality but, as a trade off, it doesn't have the oomph for cinema-quality sound reproduction.

Have this with Sony satellites. Very nice sound. HOWEVER- Nightmare setup with Sony TV not working with correctly wired ARC HDMI cables, nothing worked until I disconnected both the TV AND the Soundbar from their respective power sources, then re-started the soundbar first, then the t.v.

  Amazing that a Sony soundbar will not work with a Sony T.V. You have GOT to be serious, Sony.

We have a 65" Sony TV so the unit was compatible and set up was simple. The Sales Associate was very helpful in choosing this unit and the thing that sold me was dialogue clear voice button. The lower end units do not have this feature.

  Easy to set up, Sleek design

Really nice unit. My only small remark would be that it could use a little more power for its size.

Generally happy with the equipment however network connection is slow and to use rear speakers wireless there is a need for a hardware connection for networking. This was a disappointment.

When set correctly it gives a super performance with plenty of options.

This is one of the best choices on the market, value is worthy according to the price! Love it!
