Sony HT-CT290 300W 2.1-Channel Soundbar System

The Sony CT290 Ultra-slim 300W Sound bar is an excellent system and outperforms a more expensive system it replaces. It was very easy to set up and configure and is an excellent value.

We bought this to go along with our TCL 55R617 TV. Setup was super easy. The remote is nice and simple; typical Sony design. If you happen to have the same TV as I do, I can tell you that the soundbar turns on and off with the TV, and the volume adjustments work perfectly with the Roku remote.

So far so good! Bought this to go along with our new Samsung TV, and so far we are very gappy with the sound quality! Still figuring out all of the features, and will edit my review once we have used it a bit more.

We purchased this to replace our old sound bar system of a different popular brand. We had it set up for one evening and quickly decided to return it and go bar to our old system. We were not impressed with the sound quality at all.

Great surround sound, was really impressed! But I only recommend it if ur getting it for a 1080P TV. 4K TVs are best getting a way better soundbar than this one. I purchased it for my 27” monitor and it required HDMI ARC which my monitor does not have, and the other way was to use a normal HDMI +...

Bought a month ago and very disappointed. It has a good 290w rating and large sub by appearances but lacks ANY sub substance. Don't want this anymore - will give away

Certainly made a difference and for the price I paid definitely value for the money - enhances all over sound - the deep bass kicks in from the Bluetooth bass speaker when needed so not constantly in your ear

Far too long and far too heavy, with an extra large speaker. Neither item will fit anywhere suitably.

Very basic upgrade to TV sound. Disappointed in sound quality. Not suitable for music listening at all.

This sound bar is an improvement on your average ‘built in” TV speaker. However, if you are looking for anything significantly better, than look elsewhere.
