10 years ago I purchased a Sony HDR-SR100 camcorder and have used it extensively traveling and taking videos of my grandchildren. I noticed that the video was not what my television was capable of displaying and since I was planning a month long trip to Montana and Wyoming I thought it was time to...
Just received and tested it. So far it seems like an awesome Camcorder. Amazing video quality and it even works with my non powered, dual lapel mics that most other camcorders wouldn't work with. The one I received shows it is supposed to come with an AC Adapter, but it didn't.
This is my first camcorder. I did a ton of research before purchasing. I do not own any 4K TVs so I did not see a use for that kind of model. Factory settings made video grainy while I had it hook up to my tv using the provided hdmi cable. When I put the best settings on and the steady shot, wow.
I bought this camcorder 10 days ago and am very pleased with it. One major gripe, is it does not have (along with all camcorders these days), a remote control. All our previous camcorders have had them, so you can connect to your tv, sit back, and play, rewind, slow motion, or frame by frame from...
I've purchsed this camera a year ago, and I must say that I'm realy disappointed.Although it is very handy and comfortable in your hand, it's video quality is extremely low with compare to today's other media devices (even with compare to a standard smartphone).
I've used it for several hours including a high school band concert. It was simple to use and the picture quality was great. The audio was excellent when I played it back through my Bose portable speaker
Not overly impressed, should have bounced to the next level.
THERE IS NO USB CONNECTIVITY. REPEAT. *******NO USB CONNECTIVITY******** The whole point of moving from mini-DVD's and mini-tapes years ago was that with a local storage on a HDD you could "drag-and-drop" the whole file through a direct connection, the most universal being the USB ([U]NIVERSAL...
Had I known what a pain it is to get a file downloaded from this camera, I would not have bought it. I thought it's the 21. century. What ever happened to plug&play...? Not this one. The Sony brand does not stand for exceptional quality anymore. Certainly not ease of use.
I love this camera, the stabilizer is very good and the quality of the image excellent.
