I thought long and hard about getting this lens. It's 50% more expensive than the Sony a6000 body, so it's not a small investment. But I took it, along with a 38mm, each attached to a Sony a6000 body, on a photo workshop in Cuba this spring. It's heavy. It's somewhat bulky. It is worth it? Yes!

I am a landscape photographer and own several full frame dslr's. there are times, however when I don't feel like carrying a big camera bag full of gear. This small lens is perfect for those times.

This lens is awesome. I bought it for my FS100, and couldn't be happier. The "lens-crawl" issue everyone else has been complaining about must have been resolved, as my lens does not do move unless I move it -- even when the camera faces 90 degrees to the ground.

The only drawback to this lens is that I received it the day before I left for the vacation for which I purchased the lens. I feel if you purchase it, you should have an hour or so....or maybe more....to play around with it to make sure you know it! Same with any photographic equipment.

Was unsure whether to purchase reading some comments about the size compared with the camera body. However, I find it very comfortable to hold and also looks fine. Good quality and well built. Easy to use. Quite pricey but very impressed with this lens.
