I'm using these cards in a Fujifilm GFX 50S, they work great. When compared against the Lexar Pro 150MB/s UHS-II SDXC cards that I was previously using, these Sony cards exhibit faster buffer clearing, but the most noticeable improvement for me is that images load much faster during playback/image...
The Sony's XQD card download time is fast. This is the card I used in my Nikon D5 and my D4. However, the D4 has two card slots, one of which accommodates XQD and other slot, the CF card. I could compare the downloads' times between the XQD card and CF card.
The card caused garbled lines of pixels to be written incorrectly to the RAW image. (Not a camera sensor issue as you might think) Sony sent me a new card, but my faith in Sony memory is now 0/1 I think I'll stick to Sandisk, as I've never experienced any issues.
Let me start by saying that this is a bit pricey card. However, this card let my D4s zip out pics like nothing else. I shoot college sports and a lot of it. I normally shoot JPEG for sports but there are times (spare time) for portraits family and individuals plus other stuff I use RAW.
Never paid this much for an SD card for video, but when it comes to green screen, 10 bit 400 Mbps ALL-I on the GH5, this card rocks. You get about 40 minutes of high quality UHD footage, and dumping the card to a hard drive flies! Would definitely buy another.
I use this in my D500 with a Lexar 32GB 2000x card, they work great together. Plenty of storage for a days shooting.
I have several U3 SDXC I cards, and when tried with a7III experienced slow down in buffer wright even at medium speed shooting, with this card on medium I can do about 45 -1min without any slow down, and If I stop for 5 seconds between 30 shots, I have no slowdowns at all
I purchased the new G Series XQD card for a video project. It worked perfectly and was lightning fast. Just what I needed.
Sonny 32GB SF-G Series UHS-II SDHC Memory Card works perfectly. I love the rapid speed transfer since I take over 400 pictures or more at an outing. I have my camera set to save my images in RAW and JPG format which generates over 800 files that will be downloaded.
I had tremendous trepidation about this new card being included in the new Nikon D4. I really felt like it was a bad idea BEFORE I used them. Now that I have had a chance to use the included 16gb card and this 32gb additional card....I am a huge fan.
