The Sonos One is everything we’d hoped it would be: The best-sounding self-contained Alexa-enabled speaker you can buy, with the promise of Google Assistant and more coming soon, and the convenience and flexibility of Sonos’ killer app and ecosystem. No.

Superb sound quality, Dead-simple setup, Super easy to use, Excellent Alexa integration, Priced well

No threaded insert for mounting, No Bluetooth support
Unless you find the drawbacks I’ve described to be deal-breakers, the Sonos One is a no-brainer. That goes double for anyone who already owns Sonos components, and triple for Amazon Echo users.

Great sound in a compact package, Powerful voice-recognition capabilties, Fantastic Alexa integration, with Google Assistant and Apple AirPlay 2 compatibility promised

You can’t use voice commands to stream music from your own local server, You can use voice commands with only a handful of the 80+ streaming services Sonos supports, You can’t disable the LED that glows when the mic is on, nor the tone that sounds when you say the wake word
The Alexa-powered Sonos One is the first smart speaker that actually sounds good with music -- and even more new features will be coming to it in the months ahead.
-

The Sonos One integrates full-fledged Alexa voice control, just like an Amazon Echo speaker but with better sound quality. It offers most of Alexa's smart home controls and its far-field microphone performs similarly to an Echo.

The One costs twice as much as the new Echo. It cannot form a stereo pair with an existing Sonos Play:1. Google Assistant and AirPlay 2 support won't arrive until 2018. It doesn't work how you'd expect if you have an Echo within earshot. There's no Bluetooth.
Sonos has even better-sounding speakers in its lineup, but this one sounds great and it lets you control any Sonos speaker with voice commands (and...

The Sonos One is a versatile wireless speaker with excellent sound quality, support for multi-room audio, and Amazon Alexa voice control.

Multi-room audio with flexible stereo and surround configurations. Powerful sound for its size. Works with Alexa voice control (with support for Google Assistant to come).

Sound can distort at top volumes. No Bluetooth or wired audio connections.
What Sonos is really getting at is the same niche that Apple and Google plan to attack with their upcoming HomePod and Google Home Max speakers , respectively. It’s too soon to say exactly how those—or the aforementioned Echo Plus—compare to One from an audio standpoint, but Sonos will be...

Much richer audio quality than an Amazon Echo or Google Home, Compact, understated design is unlikely to look gaudy anywhere in the home, Mic array, while not perfect, is generally reliable for picking up voice commands, Can tap into virtually all the same Alexa “skills” as an Echo, $199 price point...

No way to control Spotify with voice commands at launch; no stated plan for Apple Music, Tidal, or Google Play Music voice commands on the horizon, No Bluetooth or wired audio connectors, Redesigned Sonos mobile app can be a bit clunky, No way to pair Sonos One and Sonos Play:1 speakers together in...
Smart speakers are big business now, and with Amazon’s Echo and Google’s Home dominating the market, Sonos had a choice: step up or slip behind. The Sonos One shows the connected speaker stalwart chose to play the game, and not just with one virtual assistant but as many as it can.

Fits smoothly into an existing Sonos system, Assistant-agnostic means you won't be locked in, Sound quality belies the size and price, Controlling whole-home music by voice is transformational, All the usual Alexa skills

Some configuration stumbles, An Echo Dot is cheaper
Like its predecessor the PLAY:1, the Sonos One sounds incredible for a $199 Speaker. Plus the fact that it has got Alexa built in makes it a pretty good value. Overall, the Sonos One is another superb connected speaker product from Sonos, it’s also the best sounding Alexa speaker you can get right...

Superb sound for its size, Alexa works great thanks to a 6 microphone array with noise cancellation Redesigned Sonos app is cleaner and more intuitive to navigate, New touchscreen controls are neat, Support for Siri and Google Assistant is on the way

Spotify support is not available yet, but it’s coming soon!, Not all of Alexa's skills are enabled yet - but software updates will address this, We would like to see the ability to pair a Sonos One with a PLAY:1 in stereo mode
Even without Alexa, Sonos’ speakers would be great for delivering music into every corner of your house. Not only do they sound awesome, but you can customize their audio profiles to whatever room they’re in, and you can stream music from dozens of sources—including Spotify.

Really happy with the quality of sound and ease of setting it up. I already have an Alexia Eco Dot so I am familiar with it. It is great that I can group the One with the Play 3 I have in the living room and control both with voice control from the kitchen.

LOVE Sonos and Alexa but the first generation of this product is not ready for prime time. Order ECHO plus instead for now and will wait for the second or third generation sonos one integration. Microphones are really poor and doesn't yet fully support all Alexa skills
Absolutley love Sonos speaker. They’re so easy to connect to and use. The sound that these speakers produce is amazing!I bought this one in preparation for Apple’s AirPlay2.The only downside to it is that you can only create stereo pairs with the same type of speaker.
Bought the Sonos One a few weeks ago and the family love it. Great performance from a small speaker and we all love interacting with Alexa. Would recommend.
Great product, easy setup, sound is exceptional for a small speaker. Only gripe is at this point it can't sync with other Alexa devices to play multi room music. I was told by Sonos that this should be available in a future firmware update. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Example: These two speakers are a terrific addition to my Sonos System, and the ability to control via voice is very impressive, a great purchase and works perfectly for sound in my Conservatory.
Got 4 of them they are so good, got them all over the house.
Love this device! Will be buying more to add to my collection.
I got this last week and I am having loads of fun thankyou
