I bought this tripod to use with my V-LUX4 and I'm very happy with it. The construction is rugged and I'm confident that it will not fail and damage my camera. The 3-way panhead is intuitive to use and locks firmly into any position. Panning is smooth.

I use the tripod for nature photography and bird watching. It is steady and supports long range lenses. Be sure to buy the case that is recommended for it as it is somewhat heavy to carry without it.

I use this in all my shooting from weddings to landscapes to still life. It is relatively light yet has a very robust, solid build. Good weight capacity, smooth movement, intelligent design. The only thing I wish it had is maybe a spirit level. All in all, superb bang for the buck!

Good for photography. Still testing for video work. I really enjoy its stability and mobility. Not to heavy but can be a little bulky.

I wanted a very sturdy tripod primarily for landscape photography. This fits the bill. Solid and very stable it is flexible enough for use on very uneven surfaces and can accommodate very low positions as well as more standard use. The locking mechanism I find quick and positive.

I bought this from another site as I waited weeks for this to come back into stock. At the time of ordering it had just been given a 'best buy' award by Digital photo magazine which probably put a big demand on this item from Wex as they are the biggest advertiser in that magazine.
