If you are tired of carrying around a heavy tripod and want one that will handle most situations, this tripod is great. It feels so precision. The legs release quickly and lock securely. Here is a tip, Sirui recommends the 10x or 20x ballhead but I recommend the 30x ballhead.
Sturdy and light weight
I am a professional artist who uses the tripod to hold my easel while painting outdoors. I had an old beast that was the only thing sturdy enough for my purposes until I found this tripod. It is stronger and more secure than my previous one though it is still about as heavy.
If you haven't switched to Sirui brand Tripods and ball heads you should. Superior quality for a lot less money.
I bought this tripod as a spare to the N3204x with k-30 ballhead. Also as a hiking tripod. It's very much smaller and a snap to use. I do like the Carbon fiber a little better. But it's still a very sturdy tripod with the k-10 head.
Light and folds up easily. Looking forward to using it.
sturdy, well made, works well
Solid construction and enough stability for my Nikon 70-200 still shooting. Can transfer some vibration during video in windy conditions. Perfect for a lightweight small gear getaway day and sturdy enough for my everyday professional use.
This tripod does what its suppose to, support a camera and very well. It is a little heavier then my carbon fiber tripod, but it's much stiffer. Some people want a carbon fiber to dampen vibrations , but when working outdoors it does not matter as I don't want any wind movement with long timed...
Very happy I purchased this tripod. It's lighter than my old one and folds down smaller too. Seems very well made and sturdy for its weight. Even came with a really nice travel bag.
