Sirui EN-2204 Carbon Fiber Tripod

This tripod is a beast. It holds 30+ pounds, is super light carbon fiber, extremely sturdy, and is so tall that I don't need to extend the bottom section of legs, lending even more stability.

As a wedding photographer I dont use my tripod THAT MUCH! But when I do these legs paired with my Manfrotto Xpro ball head...wow its killer! These legs support tons of weight and have stood up to some abuse!

These Carbon legs are awesome! I've never owned a carbon setup so I didn't know what to expect. And this wasn't a brand I had ever heard of but wow. All the reviews were right this is a TALL and nice setup! I really like it. And I love the snap lock legs vs the twist lock.

Love this tripod, its light and small and yet holds my dslr and a big lens. Very satisfied.

Easy to operate release levers, lightweight but strong. Would recommend this product.

Remember when only a handful of manufacturers made carbon pods and they cost upwards of $500+? I dont think you can do much better than this Sirui and especially for the price. The build quality is very good its one of the lighter ones availableand it comes with a pretty nice bag.

I needed a new lightweight yet stable tripod for travelling/hiking. My criteria were: 1) small enough to pack into a carryon, 2) light enough to hike 15 miles with, 3) stable, 4) must come to eye level (for me, that's about 6' tall), and 5) have quick release flip locks.

The only other one I was seriously considering was 3 times the cost.

I used this tripod while shooting along the coast of Oregon. It spent a great deal of time in the sand and in the water. I rinsed it off every night. As expected, the flip lock screws did corrode a bit. It will take some cleaning and wd40 to get it all off.
