Handling and features This 60mm lens is currently available to fit both Micro Four Thirds and Sony NEX cameras and costs around £170 and it sports a bright f/2.8 aperture with rounded aperture blades, for pleasing out of focus blur.

I stopped believing in Santa Claus somewhere around 1978 but Sigma might make me start to believe in him again. Why? If several months ago somebody told me that for the price of about 200 USD you can get a lens produced completely in Japan, made mostly of metal, with outstanding resolution right...

Whether this lens is fitted to A Sony NEX, or Micro Four Thirds camera, the telephoto focal length and fast f/2.8 maximum aperture make this optic a perfectly good lens for portraiture for not a lot of money.

Shame it doesn't focus slightly closer

The Sigma AF 60mm f/2.8 DN may be an unambitious design but this is not a bad thing since the comparatively slow max. aperture (for a tele prime lens) keeps optical obstacles to a minimum. Consequently the lens is capable of delivering ultra-sharp results - at least in the image center.

This lens comes in mounts for both micro four thirds and Sony’s NEX cameras. For micro four thirds the effective 35mm equivalent focal length is 120mm and for the Sony cameras it is 90mm. The appearance of the lens is unusual with its wide, smooth barrel which is the manual focus ring.

Recently purchased, permanently on the Sony A6000, as mainly take wildlife and low light shots while in Florida.Very pleased with results, which give me ample room to retouch.Looking forward to taking family portraits upon returning to Canada

A perfect focal length for micro 4/3.Equivalent to a 120 mm macro. While a great overall macro lens it is a tad soft which can be corrected easily with PhotoShop.

I bought this for my Sony a6300. I was skeptical of the glowing reviews, as my Sigma 30 isn't as sharp as I would hope, but.... This lens is very, very sharp corner to corner, optimum at f/5.6.

I come from Nikon full frame Nikon Df- still love it and all the D and AIS lenses that go with it, never wanted a video capability but had plenty of investment in the Nikon system. Up until last year the lugging around did not hurt but now the hand tingles and you can feel the load.

I used it mainly for portrait photos. This is a great lens. Very sharp and excellent bokeh. The only issue I am having is that the autofocus is slow. If your model is fast moving poser, you are in for trouble. So taking a star off to an otherwise perfect lens for my a5000.
