Sharp 2.2 cu. ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave

Great microwave but there is no light in the chamber, either when you open the door or have it running. Unfortunately I forgot to check that when I bought the microwave. It's impossible to see inside when cooking, ie: melting butter.

Have to use flashlight to read keypad; never seen a microwave with such a dark keypad. Old microwave (another brand) I could press 1 through 6 to run for that amount of time w/o using other buttons. Softening options more restricted than my old one.

I had a very similar model that went bad after about 10 years so I replaced it with this one. It is pretty much the same but cheaply made. The dial pad is unlighted and almost unreadable. The previous model had built in programs for items such as breakfast, lunch and other meals.

Great microwave. There is a light in it. The first reviewer must of had a light out. I bought a second on for this price!

We almost brought this unit back because you can't see the panel to make a selection. Really bad in the evening. It needs a lighted panel to make it better for selecting your options. Other than that we like this microwave's performance so far.

I have given four stars to the Sharp Microwave because the touch pads are extremely hard to see even with good lighting in my kitchen. The cooking speed is very fast and even heating is a real plus. The interior of the oven is very large.

the only complaint i would have is lack of backlit display. otherwise very fast quiet and efficient, cant wait to use during the holidays!

I had several microwaves in the past. Most microwaves wants to pop popcorn and burning it. I can enjoy a bag of popcorn without this microwave burning it. I love it. Just great...

I am trying to switch over to Vegan cooking and my sharp microwave reduces the time for heating and cooking when you are starting recipes from scratch.

We are really enjoying this new microwave. It replaced one that was years old and the new capabilities of this new one is great. I would highly recommend this appliance
