Awkward switch locations, Noise cancellation doesn’t quite match Bose, Pricey
While it doesn't quite eclipse the less-expensive Bose, the Sennheiser PXC 550 Wireless headphone is comfortable and feature packed, and performs very well.

The Sennheiser PXC 550 Wireless is very comfortable, relatively lightweight over-ear wireless headphone that sounds very good and features impressive noise-cancellation technology. It has touch controls and delivers excellent performance as a headset. Good battery life.

-
It's pricier than the Bose; while the sound quality is excellent for Bluetooth, it's lacking that little bit of extra sparkle and definition (Sennheiser's own Momentum II Wireless sounds better).
The Sennheiser PXC 550 headphones deliver excellent Bluetooth audio and noise cancellation in a feature-packedâif occasionally problematicâdesign.

+
Powerful, adjustable audio performance with rich bass depth and bright highs. Excellent noise cancellation circuitry. Includes a detachable audio cable for passive listening. Exceptionally comfortable.

Control pad is easy to misfire in certain modes. Possible to accidentally power the headphones up or down because of swiveling earcup controls. Digital signal processing is not for purists.
Sennheiser are onto a winner here. If you can afford the asking price you'll find an excellent sounding, tough and easy-to-use wireless set of cans.

High build quality Excellent bass-focused sound User-friendly control scheme Customisable EQ and noise isolation

Pricey Can't use EQ or customisation outside of CapTune media player
I have to say that the Bluetooth issue is annoying as heck, especially that I use Google Assistant a lot. I’m still hopeful that this could be fixed by a firmware update. Sennheiser PXC550 is my ‘take it with me’ choice to work, Premiere Pro CC editing, and PlayStation gaming.
Sennheiser PXC 550 is a wireless headset with adaptive noise cancellation at Rs 29,990

On the right earcup, there are two buttons. One that lets you choose two degrees of noise cancellation and another lets you toggle between effect modes. The first one is a bit hard to figure out unless you have the drone of a jet engine to drain out.

This may be the only headphone I have seen with the cable going into the right ear cup. Thankfully, this is a wireless set.
In terms of fit and finish; materials build quality; accessorization; and styling, I find the Sennheiser PXC 550 at least a nine out of ten. This is an extremely well thought out and executed design. Comfort is very good...an eight.
At $399, you have better options in the price range. In my experience both the Bose QC35 and the Sony MDR-1000X cancel noise better than the Sennheiser, and I personally find in-ear monitors like the NuForce HEM8 to block out noise better than any fancy noise cancelling circuitry anyway.
Even though the PXC 550 is still quite stylish, it is not to the point that you are more worried about how good they look sitting on your head more than the practicalities of them.
The Sennheiser PXC 550 Wireless Noise-Cancelling headphone is a powerhouse designed for premium Hi-Fi sound and comfort. A straight competitor to the Bose QuietComfort 35, the PXC 550 will definitely have the attention executive travelers looking to compare for themselves in the search for the best...
The CNET "editor's" review of these headphones has completely changed my view of every ranking/ review on CNET in a very negative way. Everything he says is not just based on personal opinion, but completely opposite from my own experience.

Purchased along with JBL Everest Elite 750NC for comparison. Both are premium $250-400 USD ANC cans that do what they say.PXC 550 are very good and deserve their well reviewed reputation.

- lightweight- 4 way directional touch control is more intuitive and convenient over mechanical buttons- mature, professional styling- even weight distribution on your head/ears/jaw between headband and ear pads- balanced sound profile- comfortable and deep oval/egg shaped ear cups, potentially...

- well made, but was less than expected following reviews and given price category- max volume and output is too weak- ANC at Max level was not effective enough in various environments
I'd definetly recommend this to a friend and also want to buy these for myself as a set to keep once I get the actual money for it, even though I have had them in less than a day they sound amazingbut if you have a hard time with high notes and your ears start to hurt don't go for these go for...

Great sound , easy to useHave to try it on a plane to test noise canceling feature.
Having purchased these headphones, I am very impressed with the build quality and sound that these produce.I opted for these after looking at similar price range models, Sony, Bose. The( which) review prompted me to buy and have no regrets.
Just what i wanted and reflected all the research I did before purchasing. Portable, comfortable, great sound, noise cancelling, bluetooth easy to pair. and i just love the touch control panel on the right hand side ear cup.
It's perfect headphones, sound quality very good, very comfortable. Have many functions of controls by touching. Only one problem bass is not so loud like i expected.
the headphones are fantastic
