The Sennheiser Momentum headphones may not have enough bass to satisfy every taste, but they are in every other way the best-sounding full-size audiophile headphones we've heard in a long time.
-
+
The Sennheiser Momentum headphones are an elegant full-size over-the-ear pair featuring a brushed stainless-steel headband and plush, leather-covered earpads. Sound and build quality are excellent, and the headphones come with a nice carrying case, as well as two cables, one of which has an...

The Momentum headphones are pricey and don't fold flat for compact storage.
The Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear delivers bright (sometimes too bright) highs, paired with a powerful low frequency response.
-
+
Powerful audio performance with robust bass response and bright highs. Lightweight, elegant design. Excellent carrying case.
-
-
Can be too bright at times. Only comes with two pairs of eartips.
If you've stepped into an audio store of any kind, or the headphone section of a big box store, you know the name Sennheiser. The first "real" headphones I bought were Sennheisers. I used them until the pleather on the cups cracked and started sticking to my ears (they were on-ears).
-
+
Build quality and aesthetics, Sound quality, Angle cable end
-
-
Overly large case, Small earcups
Sennheiser’s Momentum mantra is “the symphony of perfection” and “the pursuit of perfect sound”. It would be a stretch to consider them “perfect,” but that’s ok – they’re not targeted at audiophiles, necessarily.
-
+
Clear with solid range, Balanced sound for all genres, Noise isolation works well, Lightweight, Thoughtful and elegant design
-
-
Not foldable, A little pricey
As I mentioned earlier in this review, I have tried out and owned a lot of different headphones and earphones over the years. I'm not a full-on audiophile, but I do love good, clean sound. I'd much rather have accurate and well-balanced sound than brain shaking bass. Not that bass is a bad thing.
-
+
Package and case are stellar, Super comfortable, Two cables - one for Apple products, one for everything else, Fantastic clarity and overall well-balanced sound, Black leather & red stitching, Stainless steel, Appear and feel quite durable
-
-
A bit expensive
Sennheiser’s on- and over-ear Momentum models have been highly praised for successfully combining form and function, bringing Sennheiser audio performance to the style-focused headphone segment.
-
+
Lightweight and comfortable design, 3-button Android remote available, plentiful bass and solid overall performance
-
-
Midrange is a bit recessed
The Momentum Free sounds great, looks great and is a comfortable wear.
-
+
Lightweight Comfortable Balanced audio Good looks Hardcase
-
-
Wireless connection isn't great
If you have prejudices against closed headphones, Sennheiser’s Momentum is a model that can really open your ears. Literally. The most obvious difference between headphones
-
+
Full-bodied and engaging sound. Great sound and great comfort. High Standards and Build Quality.
-
-
Not foldable.
The Sennheiser Momentum on-ear headphones are accurate in delivering sound quality but it’s not designed for long periods of usage. With a price tag of $230, it failed to live up to my expectations.
-
+
+ Accurate sound signature,+ Old-fashioned retro design
-
-
- Pricey for an on-ear headphone,- Discomforting
The Momentum is such a perfect name for this headphone. As Sennheiser’s first consumer oriented upper tier headphone it has done just about everything right and I’m sure it is the first of many headphones Sennheiser makes primarily targeted at the mainstream consumer.
A good set of headphones for music enthusiasts on the move, build quality is very good except the cable, which is flimsy. Sonic performance is satisfactory for a portable headphone. The momentum is definitely comfortable & light. Sennheiser has done a good job these.
-
+
- Raw, spacious, carefree sound. Excellent build and materials. Beautiful design.
-
-
- Microphonic. Lacks sonic refinement. Hardwired for Single-ended cables.
Although the individual qualities for the Momentum don't stand out from average that much, the final arbiter is the sound, in this case excellent and sublime. The best bass-to-midrange-to-treble balance I can remember, just warm enough and detailed without irritations - much like a B&W P5 raised to...
First off, I like the way these headphones look. They’re classy but not flashy. It has a nice headband stitching and a nice consistent design. The headband has a metal piece that runs all the way through. It has a decent enough clamp to stay on your head but doesn’t create too much pressure.

I've had several headset from different brands through the years one of the ones that always stands out it's Sennheiser, this one is no exception, sound and build quality are good, considering their price to be honest they must.
-
-
The style might not appeal to everyone and it may require a little break in for the sound to be just right, but after a couple of weeks it's hard to get a better sound than this.
-
+
Best sounding ear buds I have ever used. High Quality, comfortable, and nice storage case. Would definitely buy again.

They sound great. About as clean and clear as ear buds can get. Once you put them in your ears you forget they are there. They don't fall out, and you don't feel them.
-
-
None. I honestly have never been more satisfied with a set of in ear buds.
-
+
Sound's quality is phenomenal, high quality build
-
-
lack of brass
The Sennheiser wireless headphones have a nice smooth sound. Proper fit is imperative to get the best frequency range but that is normal for this type of headphone. They have a good range distance wise and I've not experienced any dropouts as yet.

Well made, good fit, excellent sound

The headphones are really comfortable to wear and sound fantastic.
-

Reception is not very good compared to headphones from competitors. Biggest problem is that they loose connection quickly and are annoying because they announce the on and off (eg. every few seconds the connection to my iPad inside my backpack).
