Sennheiser IE 4 In-Ear Stereo Earphones for Wireless Monitor Applications

To sum it up I can say that for $60 (the price of IE4) you get average sound, good noise insulation and convenient earbuds. In the box you cannot find nice booklets and numerous accessories – only headphones and tips.

These are great in the field. Not bulky.

i use them in a daily basis, the sound is awesome, you get a good noise-cancelling, the only two flaws i found are: -The bass is somewhat poor, most of the music genre will sound awesome, but if you are a Hip Hop or Metal Fan you will find them disappointing at some bass levels -After long listening...

The sound quality of the IE 4's are quite decent. I agree that they are quite uncomfortable though; I think mostly because the the plastic tips--you have to jam them in your ear to get them to stay. Yes, there are 3 different tip sizes included, but I've tried them all and none of them work well.

I had the Westone UM3X in-ears and I have to say that my new IE4's blow out of the water. I use them on tour with my band and have to say that nothing comes close to these in-ears.

I currently use the Sennheiser IE3 in ear monitors which arenow only available as part of a wireless system. Talk aboutincredible sounding. It sounds great with the SennheiserIE3 driver in custom ear molds.I naturally assumed that the IE4's would be about the same. I was wrong.
