We purchased this piece to mic a guitar amp and we are VERY pleased with the results. Thick, clear sound quality with lots of dbs before any distortion is evident. The price was excellent but honestly I would have paid full retail to get the results. Great microphone!

I like it specially mix together with SM57. In fact, I had it once, but needed to sell. Now I'm getting it again.

Used the 906 to mic my Masa Boogie Mark IV in the studio. Incredible difference in sound quality compared to other mics we used. Now I have to go back a rerecord all my guitar parts! Great mic.

Can't say enough about the quality and ruggedness of this microphone. I love the fact you can just hang the mic over the top of the amp. No loss of tone. In fact, with the 3 position switch on the mic, you can shape the sound you're looking for.

This is a great microphone. Very well built and with very good sound for capturing the nuances of your beloved amp cabs. I like very much the sound of this one blended with a shure SM57, I can really capture the tone I hear from my amps with a combination such as this.

I had the opportunity to try the Sennheiser e906, Telefunken M80, Sennheiser MD421 and AKG C 414 XLS. In addition I have a modded U87ai and M149. Of all the mics above I preferred the Sennheiser e906 on my particular guitar cabinet (Blackstar HT5) and guitar (vigier excalibur).

I bought to of these to run as a stereo pair for guitar amplifiers in a live environment. They are terrific! They handle whatever two 100 watt amps can throw at them and do not color the sound in any sort of negative manner. They definitely let the amps tone shine right through.

This is a good little mike. I like the sound more than what the Shure 57 provides for electric guitar. It seems to have a flatter and more accurate tone curve, but less bottom than the 57. Placement is important.

I love these mics. For guitar, it's great and also works nicely on toms and snares. Never tried vocals however. For the money, nothing bad to say at all. I much prefer it to the 609 which surprised me as I thought it was basically the same with the 3 position switch, but it just seems to sound...
