I bought one a number of months ago and the installation was one of the easiest I have had and has worked well so I recently bought two more and installed them and all seemed OK until I started to transfer data and it was excruciatingly slow.

Working fine now but read the "Other Thoughts" for the strange issue I had. Consistently getting 125 to 150 MB/sec transfer rates in real life and up to 200 MB/sec with HD Tune Pro.

The mounting arrangement is not an issue in my enclosure so that is not a negative to me but others have complained about it so be sure and be aware of the particulars.
Drive has deteriorated over the course of a few months read/write speeds getting slower and slower is not a reliable as initially thought
A few years ago I was leary of buying 2TB disks, but I've had several now for a few years without incident. I've had my share of DOA's, regardless of brand, but after replacement have a normal life expectancy. So far so good with this disk.

Replaced 3 old 2tb disks and freed up space in my computer. Less heat too.

The weird mounting holes, but on the bright side I was prepared for this having read the reviews before buying.
It's as fast as the USB 3.0 transfer allows, is lightweight and doesn't waste energy spinning when not needed. I did get a cushioned case for it so it doesn't just bang around on the desk but hangs on a hook nearby when I'm not backing up files or something similar.
Just be aware, as others have said, that the screw holes on this drive are non-standard. Be sure it will work with your system before purchasing. Also, I installed these drives in one of those 5in3 drive cages. They fit, but it's an extremely tight fit.

I own 2 of these drives, purchased about 6 months apart. So far both drives are working, and functioning as expected.

None
The only thing wrong here, is that I thought if I bought the "kit" instead of just the bare drive, I would get a SATA cable included in the box. not the case; there is no difference in ordering the kit here as opposed to just the drive. unless you really like pretty boxes.
Make sure you download Seagate's DiscWizard from their website if you want to be able to use the entire drive. It will setup the hard drive space and then you can access it through Windows Administrative tools, Disk Management.

Great price, excellent speed, and massive storage.

Not actually 6TB, but this is a known issue. :)
I have four of these drives in my OWC Thunderbay 4 which is used with my MacMini as a storage for Tv shows and Movies. I have 3 Thunderbay 4's and have had no problems with these drives. No DOA, nothing. Love these drives
I am not upset with the 4-hole instead of standard 6-hole screw-ins because I don't dripple or drop-kick these PCs. If you are using these drives as part of a ball-playing product, then perhaps these drives can flap around, but "use plastic tie-downs" might solve that problem.

Good capacity, decent price (for a new product that is).

Perhaps not the best HDD for some RAID cards because its 'green' settings may be interpreted as 'dropping off-line' by some Adaptecs, Promise and LHIs.
Great performance for the category/group relative low operative temperature, yes that means if you got many in a rack it won't melt the case, and for the price/capacity ratio I challenge you to find anything this good
