Thin was super easy to install, and has run reliably in my ubiquiti cloud controller g2 plus 24/7. Giving me a 60 day recording capacity for my home surveillance installation without having to purchase an additional DVR.
Best value for the money at the time, quite nice, although SSD gaming is becoming mainstream now, even games like CSGO receive a huge boost in loads and less issues when using an SSD over a standard HDD and with games using texture streaming and the upcoming Microsoft DirectStorage coming to improve...
I had this hard drive since 2019 and 1 year into having the hard drive it’s started being slow bootup is very slow so I factory reset and started fresh it was okay for a few months then the same slowness started to happen I bought another computer thinking maybe it was the computer but it wasn’t the...
I recently bought a new high-end Dell gaming computer. It had only a 1TB SSD and a 1 TB HD. The Dell case didn't have room for another full-sized (3.5in) hard drive. It did however have a 2.5 in drive bay. This hard drive fit perfectly and of course had the standard connectors needed.
Prior to purchase an ostensibly authoritative online source said this hard drive would work as the internal drive for a Tivo Bolt. I installed it but it does not function with my Tivo Bolt system logic. I subsequently installed a WD20NPVZ which worked fine. I recommend that one.
After running Ubiquiti cloud controller G2 Plus 6 months it has crashed.
It looks properly protected - box, sandwiched in foam, anti-static bag. Received with a 2 hour power count. Runs idle at 40 deg C, and hot at 50 deg C (with 30 deg C ambient temp). I installed it in my Synology DS414slim, which is a NAS using 2.5 inch drives.
Needed to replace my current one which was exact same brand, make, size. Last 3 years. Use in my Tablo DVR. Easy to install, formatted without any issues, working great.
Less than a month of minor use as an external hard drive and suddenly i get relocated sectors.
Works beautifully in my Dell Power Edge R710 and worked right out of the box.
